	Executive Director's Welcome

		Thank you for your interest in Mount Rainier Lutheran High School and for visiting this site. Whether you have a future student for our school, you are an Association member trying to keep in touch, a community leader staying informed, or someone who clicked once too often and ended up here by accident, I hope you find our commitment to high school students and our desire to help them be successful. The challenges of being an effective school seems to multiply every day. When we remember that high school students often spend more waking hours at school than at home the responsibility of the school acquires an awesome proportion. Issues of scholarship, atmosphere, teaching staff, life-skills, values, safety, spirituality, and many others impact the student on a daily basis. But, I believe that effective schools must first be affective and that comes by being Christ-centered and student-focused. Mount Rainier Lutheran High is a new educational partner in the South Sound region. This is a vibrant community and I look forward to finding ways that our school and its students add to that vibrancy by making our contribution as caring servant leaders.
