“...then make my joy complete by being like minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.”  Philippians 2:2-3Luke_cheering

I love this part of Paul’s letter to the Philippians because it’s not only an important reminder of how I am to live but also an important life lesson to the teenage generation that I feel I’ve been called to reach. I’m blessed to have been a member of the MRLH facultysince 2005 and currently serve as Athletic Director and Dean of Students. Along with administrative duties, I also spend time in the classroom teaching in the areas of physical education and social studies. I’m also the Head Cross-Country coach in the fall and Head Track & Field coach in the spring. Prior to joining the staff here at MRLH, I worked in retail management for REI. I attended both Washington State University and Eastern Washington University and earned my B.S. degree in Physical Education with a minor in Geography from EWU. While at WSU, I was a member of the Track & Field team. God has blessed me with the opportunity to share in this ministry with my lovely wife of 12 years, Sarah, who happens to be the English teacher at MRLH. We have three great children. While not at school (which isn’t too often), I enjoy participating in and watching sports and generally just being active.
