PE

I always love the first day of school!  The excitement that fills the halls is almost tangible.

I enjoyed meeting all my students today, some new and some more familiar.  I can see how God has created each of them uniquely and with His purpose in mind.  I am honored to be a part of their education at Mount Rainier, and helping them to know their Savior in a personal way.

This P.E. course will touch on many elements of living physically healthy.  Today, we discussed the basics of what our class will look like each day and what they can expect throughout the course of the year.

Each student needs different clothing, from their regular school attire, for P.E.  Their P.E. clothing should be comfortable and athletically appropriate.  This includes shirt, shorts/warmups, shoes, and socks.  We discussed the importance of hygiene, especially because our class is usually the second hour of the day and they will not want to spend the other 5 periods of their day with flies swarming around their stench!

Throughout the course of this class, the students will explore different team sports, strength training, conditioning, and education in habits for healthy living.

MRLH is supported by both LCMS and ELCA congregations.
We strive to serve the entire local community and welcome students from all backgrounds.
