Course Description
TECH 101 9 Computer Applications This course is designed to give students an understanding of basic computer operations and uses. Emphasis will be on how the computer can be used to solve problems at work, in education, and at home. Students will learn to use existing software instead of writing their own programs. This course includes units on word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, databases, and the Internet.
TECH 201 10 Web-authoring Applications This course is designed to introduce the student to Web-authoring applications and create appealing content for the Internet. Students will learn to use a visual editor for creating and maintaining web pages and sites. They will also use a graphics program to create and edit images for the web, including maps, buttons, animations and entire web pages. Students will also explore a software authoring tool for creating high impact web experiences. 
TECH 401 12 Computer Repair This is a course where the students focus on the basics of hardware and software. Students learn about computer hardware and operating systems. They build computers and perform maintenance on the school machines. If successful, students will have the ability to attain the A+ certification by CompTIA.
