Physics 2

Physics is the science of mass  and energy, explaining not only distant astronomic phenomena, but also the things we see and experience every day. This course introduces the theories, equations, and conclusions of classical physics as applied to the motion of objects and wave phenomena.  Among the topics studied are Newton's Laws, force and momentum, work and energy, rotational motion, sound, light, and color. Physics problems are approached conceptually and through the solution of algebraic equations. Also included are a lab component and discussion of the scientific method.
