|
Mount Rainier Lutheran High enrolls on a rolling basis as long as spaces are available. The recommended months for application are between December and April. |

Step 1 - Application: |
|
|
|
Each applicant must complete the application and forward it with a non-refundable Application fee to the school office. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Step 2 - Entrance Examination: |
|
|
|
Each applicant must take the Entrance exam. It is similar in format to most standardized tests. Its purpose is to help provide appropriate student placement. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Step 3 - Student Records: |
|
|
|
The applicant's parents must provide copies of student transcripts, test scores, and medical records. To help facilitate this process Mount Rainier will provide a Release of Records Request Form. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Step 4 - Reference Forms: |
|
|
|
Each applicant must obtain recommendation forms from any two (2) of the following: math teacher, English teacher, counselor, Director of Youth Ministries, or Pastor. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Step 5 - Interview: |
|
|
|
The applicant and parent(s) must attend the interview. This meeting provides an opportunity to link school philosophy and requirements with student abilities and family goals. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Step 6 - Notification: |
|
|
|
Once Steps 1 - 5 have been completed, notification regarding acceptance will be made within two (2) weeks. |
